Shyam Sundler, Affiliate

Shyam Sunder is James L. Frank Professor of Accounting, Economics and Finance at the Yale School of Management since 1999. Earlier, he served on the faculties of the Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Minnesota and the University of Chicago. He was educated as an engineer at the Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University. His research interests include financial reporting, dissemination of information in security markets, and statistical theory of valuation. A pioneer in the fields of experimental finance and experimental macroeconomics, he has published five books and more than 150 scholarly articles. He is a Past President of the American Accounting Association, has given more than three hundred invited lectures at universities throughout the world, and has been honored for his scholarship.
